Clash of Clans Attack Breakdown: A Thoughtful Strategy That Paid Off
When approaching this base, my original plan was to come in from the Town Hall side. But then I noticed something important: two Spell Towers positioned near the bottom, surrounded by a cluster of defenses. That changed everything.
Adjusting the Plan
Instead of charging straight toward the Town Hall, I decided to send the Royal Champion (RC) toward those towers to try and take out one section of the base. The idea was to follow up with the Minion Prince to take care of the Town Hall.
And it worked—really well.
Handling the Royal Champion
The RC ended up taking a lot more damage than I expected. I had to pop her ability early to regain some health. From there, I started using Invisibility spells quickly, aided by the Haste Vial, which lets you skip the full four-second cooldown. The RC’s boots handled key defenses as long as I kept her cloaked at the right moments.
A Moment of Uncertainty
There was a point where I got a little nervous. The defenses ahead weren’t positioned tightly, and I wasn’t sure which direction the RC would take. I hoped she’d head toward the Hook Tower, but she chose a different path—classic RC behavior. Predicting her movements isn’t always easy.
To my surprise, she survived the entire attack, which was a first for me compared to previous runs.
Enter the Queen and Dragons
Next, I sent the Archer Queen in from the right side to funnel troops properly. I dropped some dragons at the top to clear out resource buildings like gold mines.
Once the top was cleared, I funneled more dragons in behind the Fire Spitter, using it as a shield. The idea was to use that path to allow my dragons to sweep in cleanly.
I popped the Warden’s ability early—right after the Spell Tower fired—because I knew the damage from that tower would be intense.
The Finishing Moves
Just like planned, I deployed the Minion Prince at the top to go after the Town Hall. With almost no defenses nearby, he easily took it down. I activated his ability, got the Town Hall, and even managed to destroy two critical cannons.
I did miss the Monolith, but in the end, it didn’t matter.
Cleanup and Success
From there, the army moved through the base, cleaning up everything in its path. The strategy paid off, and the base fell smoothly.
