How I 3-Starred a Brutal Base with Dragons, RC, and Invisibility Spells
Breaking Down a Tricky Base: One Move at a Time
Some Clash of Clans bases just make you sweat the second you see them. That’s exactly what I thought when I first looked at this one: stacked fire spitters, poison towers, tightly packed defenses, and a terrible pathing setup for air. But with some careful planning (and a few close calls), I managed to 3-star it.
Here’s how it went down.
The Plan: Sweepers, Spitters, and Spells
When I first scouted the base, I knew it was risky. The air sweepers and fire spitters were grouped together which gave me an opportunity. If I could hit them from the same angle, I could neutralize a big portion of the defensive core early.
Then I noticed the spell towers were poison towers much easier to deal with than invisibility or rage. That sealed it. I came in from the bottom-left, going straight for the sweepers, fire spitters, and spell towers.
The RC Push: Early Risk, Big Reward
I dropped my Royal Champion in with a goal: snipe the ricochet cannon and soften the core. I popped her ability early which I usually do when I’m worried she might go down too fast. Spoiler alert: she almost did. 😅
There was a tense moment when she ran into a poison zone, and I had to drop an invisibility spell to keep her alive. Barely made it out.
Dragon Deployment & Funnel
With the RC clearing key defenses, I dropped the Queen at the top to create a funnel and then unleashed the dragons from the upper left, fanning them out to cover as much ground as possible.
I made one mistake didn’t use the Queen’s arrow to snipe both air defenses but overall, the funnel worked.
I added the Minion Prince to support the Queen where damage was stacking up, and I used his ability to freeze defenses. That saved the Queen for a bit… until the P.E.K.K.A stole her healers. Yeah. That happened. 🤦♂️
Warden Timing and Recovery
I overlapped the Minion Prince and Warden abilities, which I usually avoid but hey, nerves! The timing still worked, and my dragons melted through the core.
Despite a few hiccups (and a near meltdown when the Queen went down), the attack crushed the base in the end.
Final Thoughts
Sometimes, you don’t need perfection just a good plan and enough flexibility to react when things go sideways.
