Gitbit Demo: Win Managed Service Clients with Automated Data Reports

Imagine walking into a prospect meeting with a guaranteed way to save them money on day one?

After analyzing hundreds of tenants, we found that the average company is wasting 22% of its Microsoft 365 licensing budget.

All you need to do is turn that 22% into your prospect's advantage.

That's why we built Gitbit. It’s a dead simple reporting tool designed to help people save money.

Instead of upselling backups or security, you have them run Gitbit. Within minutes, it generates a beautiful, white-glove report exposing exactly where they are wasting money.

You don't have to convince them they have a problem; the data does it for you. You hand a prospect a report that says, 'Here is exactly how you can save 22%.' You instantly build trust, prove your value, and fund your own services before you even put a contract in front of them.

There’s no heavy onboarding or complex setup. They can run the report with 2 clicks.

Where The Savings Comes From

We've found 5 different ways customers are wasting money in Microsoft 365, and Gitbit unlocks 4 of them.

With Gitbit, we can quickly identify disabled and inactive users that are licensed, as well as, show you how many licenses are being charged that aren't assigned to users.

Gitbit can also pull the most common app usage. Gitbit cannot look into all of the services that a user may be using, for example, DLP policies. It's recommended to call out possible downgrade options while informing the prospect that your team would need admin access to verify service usage prior to downgrading the licenses.

Gitbit cannot view the license terms. It is recommended to talk to the prospect about their current license terms to determine if there are any possibilities of saving them money.

How To Run A report

  1. Go to www.gitbit.org and click Partner Login. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 credentials.
  2. Now, you're in your dashboard. A central hub showing you every prospect and client report you've run.
  3. Send the Client Report Link to your prospect.
  4. The prospect follows the link, logs in with their admin credentials and approves the app.

That's it. Once the prospect approves the report the app starts working. Within minutes the report will be generated.

How To Review The Report

We've designed Gitbit to show you actionable insights right off the bat but we've also added advanced insights inside the report.

  1. Go to www.gitbit.org and click Partner Login. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 credentials.
  2. Click the domain name of the report you want to look at located under Reports

The 5 cards at the top are to provide easy summary of the prospects environment. You can view the total number of licenses, actively used, disabled accounts that have licenses, inactive accounts that have licenses, and unassigned licenses.

The charts provide the same information broken down by license type.

The table below provides a list of users, their licenses and if they should be licensed or not.

You can also download the report as a CSV to view more insights on app usage by user.

Security Concerns

Now, I know what you're thinking: 'Will my prospects be nervous about security?' Absolutely, and we built Gitbit to make you look like a security pro.

This approval grants zero access to their actual business data. It strictly pulls read-only metadata, things like user sign-on dates, license assignments, and app usage. Check out the Gitbit Report Permissions guide to know exactly what permissions are required and why. That way you can reassure them with 100% confidence that their sensitive data stays completely private. The best part? It takes your prospect 30 seconds, and Gitbit handles the rest.

As soon as they hit approve, your sales rep instantly gets access to the report.

Try It 100% Free

But don't take my word for it. You can get Gitbit 100% free for 30 days.
