Over a million companies are using Microsoft 365. That's a lot of organizations that have security requirements. But that's not the only reason to hire someone with a Microsoft 365 Security Administration certificate.

Microsoft partners also need to hire employees that have their Microsoft 365 Security Administration certificate. For Microsoft partners to have a silver partnership they need at least one employee that has passed the MS-500. Microsoft gold partners need at least four employees that have passed the MS-500.

The amount of money you can make with the certification varies depending on the industry and the company you work for. However, on average, you can expect to make around $100,000 a year with this certification. If you are just starting in the field, you can earn around $60,000 a year.

To obtain this certification, you must first take and pass the exam. The MS-500 exam comprises 40-60 questions and you have 120 minutes to finish the exam. The exam costs roughly $165. You need a score of at least 700 out of 1000 to pass. To prepare for the exam, you can use this site! Surprised right?
