Write my report for me

There are a lot of prompts for writing and summarizing reports, so I'll list them below. But remember when in doubt follow the GCES format. Or use one of the prompt templates before like the act as a… Top ten then carry on or small steps.

So, if I don't have any data to input, I might just ask a question like "Provide an analysis of the current market trends, including key statistics and insights relevant to courses on using AI." Unfortunately, with the free version, you can't ask Copilot to review emails, PDFs, OneNote, etc. But if the report is on a webpage you are good to go! Or if you can copy and paste the report into the Copilot chat that would work too.

For Business Reports:

  1. Executive Summary: Summarize the key points of this business report URL, including the main findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  2. Market Analysis: Provide an analysis of the current market trends, including key statistics and insights relevant to INDUSTRY.
  3. Financial Overview: Create a detailed financial overview, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins for the last quarter from URL.
  4. SWOT Analysis: Conduct a SWOT analysis for our company, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

For Project Reports:

  1. Project Overview: Write an overview of the project, including objectives, scope, and key milestones.
  2. Progress Update: Provide a progress update on the project, detailing completed tasks, ongoing activities, and any delays.
  3. Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks associated with the project, and suggest mitigation strategies.
  4. Lessons Learned: Summarize the lessons learned from the project, including what went well and areas for improvement.

For Research Reports:

  1. Introduction: Write an introduction for a research report on [topic], including background information and research objectives.
  2. Literature Review: Summarize the existing literature on [topic], highlighting key studies and findings.
  3. Methodology: Describe the research methodology used in the study, including data collection and analysis methods.
  4. Results and Discussion: Present the results of the research and discuss their implications.

For Technical Reports:

  1. Technical Summary: Provide a technical summary of the report, including key findings and recommendations.
  2. System Architecture: Describe the system architecture, including hardware and software components.
  3. Performance Analysis: Analyze the performance of the system, including benchmarks and performance metrics.
  4. Future Work: Suggest areas for future work and improvements based on the findings of the report.

For Incident Reports:

  1. Incident Description: Describe the incident, including what happened, when it occurred, and who was involved.
  2. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct a root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of INCIDENT.
  3. Corrective Actions: Outline the corrective actions taken to address the incident and prevent future occurrences.
  4. Impact Assessment: Assess the impact of the incident on operations, including any financial or reputational damage.
